The artificial turf will come already brushed with sand. However, it is advisable to top it up with sand, in case it has fallen out of some areas in the lifting process.

To ensure longevity and proper service, we recommend each spring, before turnout, you:

• clear any debris (eg leaves, small stones, mud) from the artificial turf
• top up the artificial turf with sand to ensure longevity and proper service. Sand in a loader bucket can be thrown over the artificial turf with a shovel – one tonne will do 500m (takes approx 15 mins)
